CHC of Wyandotte County Receives HCF Grant |
 On February 15, 2010, The Community Health Council of Wyandotte County (CHCWC) received an Applicant Defined Grant from the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City in the amount of $70,000. This grant from the Health Care Foundation will help the Community Health Council in its planning process for expanding comprehensive federally qualified health center (FQHC) services for the uninsured and underinsured residents of Wyandotte County. The grant will be used to support the following tasks during the planning process.

Children’s Mercy Still Recruiting for Healthy Home Program
On October 3, 2007, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development awarded Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics $1 million for its "Kansas City Safe and Healthy Home Partnership (KCSHHP)."
KCSHHP is a partnership between the Children's Mercy Allergy, Asthma, Immunology Section, the Kansas City Missouri Health Department, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Northland Neighborhood, Inc.
